Vessi Footwear

89th + Madison has been designing the best sweaters for the best value since 2004. We stand by that you get what you pay for, but know we can deliver even more. But how do we do it? The secret begins and ends with our end-to-end supply chain where we do every step from sourcing our own fabrics to manufacturing each unique style to exacting standards, including a team of skilled artisans who add hand knitted details and use state-of-the-art sewing machines and more. But with each 89th + Madison piece, it’s just as much about what we don’t do as what we do: We don’t pour money into lavish ad campaigns. We don’t pay for celebrities to wear our styles in the pages of magazines. We don’t hold wasteful focus groups. Instead YOU are our focus. So we design timeless styles that make you look instantly, effortlessly polished allowing you the freedom to feel your best while balancing what matters most: family, work, and a full life lived stylishly.

We recognize you’re an individual with all-inclusive interests, a globetrotter, a fashion nomad because we are too. Our founders grew up in different countries, travel frequently, and are eclectic shoppers. They found themselves in search of products from vast origins in their daily lives and realized the difficulty to do so. As a solution to their own problem, they launched KOODING so the nomad shopper could easily access products from around the globe and discover new wanderlust favorites. We value destinations, cultures, and global products but our highest value is connecting style with people. We connect people from over 70 countries to their classic favorites and new discoveries every day. Our goal is to enable discovery and instant access between these local fashion brands and you.

Michael and Uli Belenky founded Zutano when their first daughter Sophia was born in 1989. Michael, a professional photographer, and Uli, a designer and art director, recognized a gaping hole in the children's fashion market and handcrafted a small batch of unique, colorful baby clothes from their New York City brownstone. The clothes were an immediate favorite in the city's boutiques and before long Zutano blossomed into one of the top baby brands in the US. When their second daughter Ella was born, the Belenky's packed up Zutano and headed north to a hilltop farmhouse in Cabot, Vermont. They used their new home in the countryside as inspiration for the evolution of the Zutano brand, while holding onto their root values of practicality, whimsical fun, and unique personality. The Zutano line was expanded to include accessories and they introduced their now-famous baby booties, which provided a perfect solution for parents looking for colorful, cute footwear that stayed on their baby's feet.
