About RetailMeNot Deal Finder
History
RetailMeNot launched in 2006 as an online destination for coupons and promotional offers. RetailMeNot Deal Finder is its browser-based shopping assistant, extending the brand’s savings service by helping shoppers find applicable offers while shopping online. It is a shopping tool rather than a conventional retailer.
Product Types
A browser extension designed to find and test available coupon codes at participating online stores. Eligible cash-back opportunities may also be available, subject to current RetailMeNot terms, supported stores, and browser compatibility. Deal Finder does not directly sell the merchandise featured by participating retailers.
Target Audience
Value-conscious online shoppers who want to reduce the effort of searching for discounts, including families managing household budgets, frequent online buyers, students, and seasonal gift shoppers. For affiliate publishers, relevant audiences include readers of savings, personal finance, shopping, and browser-tool content.
Unique Selling Points
Deal Finder brings RetailMeNot’s coupon-discovery service into the online shopping process, helping users test available codes rather than manually copying individual offers. Discounts and cash back are subject to eligibility and are not guaranteed on every purchase. Publishers interested in promoting Deal Finder through Sovrn Commerce should create a Sovrn account to explore this merchant and thousands more. Current Deal Finder availability, partnership status, eligible referral actions, and program terms must be confirmed with Sovrn; an active listing or immediate merchant approval cannot be independently verified here.

Marketing Tips
Content Ideas
- Create an educational overview of RetailMeNot Deal Finder explaining its browser-extension approach to finding savings. Verify current features and browser compatibility before publishing.
- Publish a hands-on review using genuine shopping examples, documenting which offers were found and whether they applied successfully. Avoid implying that every shopper will receive the same discounts.
- Develop seasonal shopping guides for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, back-to-school purchases, and holiday gifts, explaining where Deal Finder may fit into a broader savings strategy.
- Create a privacy-conscious browser-extension guide covering installation permissions, current privacy disclosures, and how shoppers can manage or remove the extension.
Promotional Strategies
- Join Sovrn Commerce to explore access to RetailMeNot Deal Finder and thousands of other merchants. Confirm that the merchant is currently available and that your account and promotional channels are eligible before planning a campaign.
- If RetailMeNot Deal Finder is available to your account, use the tracking links provided through Sovrn Commerce in relevant reviews, tutorials, and shopping guides.
- Place clearly labeled calls to action alongside useful explanations of the service rather than relying on unsupported savings claims or aggressive installation prompts.
- Align content updates with major shopping periods, but promote affiliate bonuses, exclusive offers, or increased commissions only when confirmed in current Sovrn Commerce terms.
- Test educational headlines, link placement, and calls to action using Sovrn reporting where available. Optimize for validated earnings rather than clicks alone.
Best Practices
- Verify RetailMeNot Deal Finder's current availability, commission structure, qualifying conversion event, attribution window, and restrictions through Sovrn Commerce. Do not assume that payment is based on purchases rather than eligible installations or another action.
- Place a clear affiliate disclosure near promotional links and disclose any compensation connected with reviews or recommendations.
- Check current merchant terms through Sovrn Commerce before using paid search, trademark keywords, email, social media, incentives, or browser-extension-related promotional methods.
- Do not promise guaranteed savings, universal coupon success, guaranteed cash back, or compatibility with every retailer. Describe only features supported by current product information.
- Use transparent links and accurate installation messaging. Avoid forced redirects, automatic installations, misleading download buttons, cookie stuffing, and fabricated testimonials.
- Review content regularly for changes to extension availability, supported browsers, offer eligibility, and merchant terms. Allow for reporting delays and commission reversals when assessing performance.
