Promotional Strategies

• Join Sovrn Commerce to access its merchant discovery and affiliate tools for thousands of retailers, then verify whether Scholastic Teacher Express is currently available for your account before planning monetized campaigns.
• Where Scholastic Teacher Express is available through Sovrn Commerce, use eligible tracked links within helpful, contextually relevant teaching content rather than relying on standalone advertisements.
• Schedule content ahead of likely classroom-planning periods, including back-to-school, winter-term preparation, and summer learning; treat these as editorial opportunities rather than verified merchant sales periods.
• Promote only offers verified as current and authorized under the merchant terms available through Sovrn Commerce. Do not claim exclusive discounts, commission boosts, or affiliate-only promotions without confirmation.
• Use Sovrn reporting, where available, to compare engagement and attributed sales across grade levels, subjects, and content formats, allowing for reporting delays and transaction adjustments.

Best Practices

• Confirm the merchant's current identity, storefront, and availability through Sovrn Commerce before publishing. Current participation, commission rates, cookie duration, and merchant-specific restrictions have not been independently verified here.
• Place a clear, conspicuous affiliate disclosure near recommendations and links, using language such as: 'I may earn a commission if you purchase through these links.'
• Check product availability, prices, grade ranges, file formats, and licensing terms regularly; do not assume that a historic Teacher Express listing remains purchasable.
• Review applicable Sovrn Commerce and merchant terms before using social media, email, paid advertising, coupon content, or trademark-related keywords. Do not assume these methods are permitted.
• Use only authorized product images, descriptions, and promotional assets, and do not redistribute paid teaching materials or imply endorsement by Scholastic.
• Describe educational benefits accurately without promising improved learning outcomes or claiming standards alignment unless supported by the specific resource.
• Write for adult educators and caregivers, and avoid collecting or publishing identifiable student information in classroom examples.
